Terms of Service

Engine Cortex is a Mexican company and the authoritative terms of service are the Spanish ones, governed by Mexican law: Tรฉrminos y Condiciones. The summary below is provided for convenience; where the two differ, the Spanish version governs.

1. The service

Engine Cortex (Arsova, Culiacรกn, Sinaloa, Mexico) provides an AI sales-agent platform that answers your customers on WhatsApp, Telegram and a web widget using the business context you configure โ€” catalog, pricing, policies, availability.

2. Accounts and subscriptions

  • Plans are billed monthly through Stripe.
  • New accounts are onboarded together with our team โ€” there is no self-serve signup or trial. Implementation, when applicable, is quoted per case.
  • You may cancel at any time and there is no minimum term. Access continues until the end of the paid period.
  • Each plan carries usage limits (messages, organizations, documents). Exceeding them may incur overage charges or throttling, as shown at checkout.

3. Your responsibilities

  • The content you load โ€” catalog, prices, policies โ€” is yours, and you are responsible for its accuracy.
  • You must have the right to message the customers you route through the platform, and must comply with the terms of the channels you connect (including WhatsApp).
  • You may not use the platform for unlawful activity, spam, or to impersonate others.

4. What the agent does not do

The agent never confirms a payment as received. When a customer claims to have paid, the order is placed in a pending state and a human on your team must verify it. Cortex does not process, hold or settle your customers' payments to you.

AI responses are generated from the context you provide. You remain responsible for the commercial commitments made in your business's name.

5. Your data

Your data is yours. We never use your conversations to train AI models. How we collect, store and delete data is described in our Privacy Policy, including how to request deletion.

6. Availability and liability

We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The service depends on third parties (AWS, Meta, Stripe, Microsoft Azure) whose outages are outside our control. Limitations of liability are set out in full in the Spanish terms.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States, with jurisdiction in Culiacรกn, Sinaloa.
